Mexicali

CCPV first started making trips to Mexicali shortly after the devastating 7.2 earthquake that rocked Baja California on Easter 2010. Those first initial trips that consisted more or less of a few pick up trucks filled with water and supplies and a handful of people unsure of where they were going and what they were doing have led to a partnership with a local Mexican church, Rosa de Sharon, and a beautiful ministry that has been founded and sustained by Jesus. CCPV now makes regular weekend trips to Mexicali where we help with supplies like food, water and toiletries and we lead bible studies and outreaches where we play games, eat together, give out toys and clothes, perform dramas, worship and just hang out and talk about Jesus. We encourage anyone who has a desire to be part of what Jesus is doing to come and join us!

Our next trip to Mexicali is March 16-18, 2012. The cost of the trip is $125 per person, double occupancy. This includes transportation, accommodations, food, and ministry expenses. Come see and be a part of the Mexicali ministry. You can sign up at the front office.
