Convalescent Ministry
The convalescent ministry meets once a month at Country Villa Convalescent Home in Pomona, where we visit and share with the sick and elderly. There are many different kinds of people at Country Villa ranging from the elderly down to young people who have sustained life altering injuries or illnesses and are in circumstances where they cannot take care of themselves or their basic needs. Many do not have family or loved ones that visit them. Our goal is to listen to them and spend time with them and share not only our own lives, but also Jesus. We hope to remind the people who are living in the home just how much Jesus cares for them and wants to be with them during their difficult times.

High School Ministry
Our High School ministry is a great group of High School students who come together with the pursuit of knowing Jesus more as well as growing and sharing life with each other. The High School ministry is currently invited to join the services in our sanctuary and be encouraged on Sundays at 9:00 am and 11:00 am as well as 7:00 pm on Wednesdays.
Homeless Ministry
Our homeless ministry meets twice a month; every other Tuesday, and goes to Ganesha Park here in Pomona. We prepare a hot meal and serve it to the homeless that meet and live in the park. Depending on their specific needs that we know of, we prepare and collect practical supplies and toiletries that we pass out to whoever needs them. Our goal is to serve and love the homeless people of Pomona in basic ways as well as share with them the hope that can only be found in Jesus. Our desire is that they would know the deep love and purpose that Jesus has for their lives.

NT Reading Program
Every year in September CCPV begins a New Testament Bible reading program together, beginning in Matthew and ending in Revelation. This provides a wonderful opportunity to be in God’s word individually and corporately. It has been such a blessing each year to read together and to be able to discuss with other believers the things that Jesus is speaking to each person. We have Bible Journals available that were created in order to be a benefit in helping to retain and catalog what Jesus speaks to you while in His word. They are available for $5 each.

Join us as we spend time in Spirit-led intercession and prayer to lift up our leadership, our services, our ministries, and the body of Christ at CCPV. We know that we are called be a people of prayer and that too often, prayer is the greatest untapped resource of the church. Over and over in the Bible, God says, “Ask of Me, and I will….” So let us ask in one accord and see what the Lord will do!
